Description of RoadBinder Road Stabiliser

RoadBinder is a unique water dispersion of acrylic resins and natural polymers supplied as a viscous liquid. It is diluted into water carts and sprayed onto or blended into roads, airstrips and hardstand areas etc where watering programs cannot be implemented to control dust emissions. It is also used in weak materials to stabilise natural soils for roads to perform in all weather conditions.

Application

RoadBinder Road Stabiliser is sprayed onto the surface in a 12% solution in two passes. It is applied ongoing as required.
RoadBinder is blended into the road surface at rates between 6L/m3 and 12L/m3 depending on strength requirements. After implementation of RoadBinder, roading wearing layers such as hot asphalt can be used. RoadBinder will improve the ability for asphalts to binder to the road surface. RoadBinder can be used solely for road stabilisation with a topical application for dust suppression and improved road aesthetics.

RoadBinder Road Stabiliser can be used in conjunction with cement road stabilisation to reduce required cement quantities or replace the need for cement all together. RoadBinder can also be used in cohesive soils i.e. clays and non-cohesive soils i.e. sand for premium binding and soil stabilisation. RoadBinder is environmentally friendly and can be used in all industries including mining, agriculture, plantations and civil roads.
